Two Oaks just a question. What is the symbol you are using for an avatar? Just curiosity, no criticism here.

    Hey Arti-facts,
This is a Native symbol called a medicine wheel, wheel of life, spirit wheel, circle of life, etc. depending on your tribal affiliation. Usually the wheel is colored to represent the colors that are sacred to a particular tribe.
In my case, I prefer these colors because they represent the four colors of man. The circle represents the continual circle of life and the 'completeness' of the Creator. At the center of the crossing lines is where the Creator dwells. The crossing lines are the spiritual paths (North & South) and the physical paths (West & East) that we walk.

In some tribes the line N&S is called the Good Red road. It teaches you to walk a spiritual life, the laws the Spirit gives us to guide us in our daily walk.
The line W&E is the 'Blue, or, Black road and is what we used to call the schook of hard knocks. Those lessons that parents hope the children won't have to experience but know hardheaded children will.

The eagle feathers represent the highest level of spirituality we achieve, knowing that even though we reach for the heavens, the Spirit of God is already within reach... at our center.

Hope this helps, and thanks for asking.
